About the President
Ciana Torres is a Spring 2019 initiate of the Rho Chapter at the University of San Diego and proudly serves as the National President of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority, Incorporated®. Her journey within the sorority began with a passion for leadership and community, which quickly elevated her to significant roles within her chapter and eventually on the national level. Elected at the 33rd Annual National Convention in July 2022, Ciana now chairs the National Board, where she provides strategic direction, support, and oversight for the sorority's senior leadership.

As National President, Ciana Torres has prioritized operational excellence while championing inclusivity and accessibility within Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority, Incorporated®. Under her leadership, she has introduced gender-neutral documentation and ensured the sorority remains ADA-compliant, creating a more equitable and welcoming environment for all members. Ciana is also spearheading a rotating philanthropy initiative, ensuring that Alpha Pi Sigma gives back to every community it touches.

As the first openly queer and neurodivergent National President, Ciana brings a unique perspective to her role, deeply committed to fostering a culture of belonging. Her vision is to lead the sorority into a future where members not only thrive personally and professionally but also embody a steadfast commitment to service, leadership, and the values of Alphahood.
